Chef Owner Hide Tsuzuki Trained in Nagoya, Japan for 10 years. Originally he was a traditional sushi chef at Okei sushi, but wanted to explore the world. Attracted to the beauty of Colorado he split his time working at Taka sushi and skiing. In 1994 Hide with a partner founded Sushi Ya Go-Go looking to leave his mark on the Aspen culinary scene.
Hide focused on creating a more casual dining experience than the high end sushi bars in Aspen. Focusing on to go, catering, and quality he saw an opportunity to expand and open a new restraunt in El Jebel. Now designed to be high quality sushi for local Sushi Ya Go-Go is thriving.
